In which Sherlock and Mycroft's parents were named Amy and Rory, and time and the TARDIS and a man who was something more than an uncle (something more than a man) made them who they are today. This is thrillingly brilliant and heart-breaking and mysterious and I can't wait to see where this goes.

In which the Doctor wanders into one of Neal's undercover ops for the FBI. This was quite fun. I especially enjoyed all the stuff about the psychic paper, lololol.

In which the Doctor takes care of her needs when he can remember, and takes care of her heart always. Which contains the lines: His skin is smooth to the touch. She kept running her hands across it, trying to find a scar or a blemish. Where he found hers easily, she found nothing until she realised all his scars were on the inside. “Say something to me in Gallifreyan.” “It will sound like English – you won’t actually hear it as Gallifreyan.” “I don’t care. Say something anyway.” The Doctor winds her hair around his hand and says, “I am not afraid of the fire.” Amy doubts it could sound any more poetic in his language. // ;_________; *___* SO BEAUTIFUL, SO PERFECT, SO THEMMMMM. UGH.

In which John and Sherlock really met during the lost year when the Master ruled the Earth. Oh my dear lord, so this fic. First thing, it's fucking perfect. Second thing, reading this fic is sort of like a piece of lead settling down in the pit of your stomach, and then someone coming up to you and saying "that's not lead, that's a bomb, and I've got the detonation device, *push*," but instead of you dying a horribly painful death, something warm and somehow heart-achingly perfect explodes there and the world is remade. Some very interesting meta on Doctor Who S5 and Moffat's Who in general, and Moffat's portrayal of women in general, and then of the Library arc in particular.

In which a newly regenerated Nine shows up in the English countryside and is aided by a set of severely shaken, but resolutely undefeated sisters. THIS FIC WAS SO GOOD. It read like Austen, and it was actually a really lovely coda set in the ambiguous last few pages of Sense and Sensibility after they've learned their lessons but before they get their happy endings. A love song to wonder and to sense and to sensibility and to the bonds that tie people together across time and space and difficulty. A+

I'm like 100 words into this fic and I'm already waving my arms around happily and making noises only dolphins could interpret. Which contains the lines: “A bowtie, are you sure?” “Bowties are cool,” said Amelia. “What do you know,” said the Doctor, “you’re wearing a bobble-hat.” DOLPHIN. NOISES.

Oh god, this was delightfully creepy. Weeping angels fanvid! Everything that Greensilver touches turns to gold.

In which Rory accidentally uses ladies scented body wash (note lack of apostrophe) and the Doctor is a little bit too interested in it. Hahaha, final line, you have my whole heart.

In which they're living in a fairytale, but the story they're living is always their own to shape. Ugh, it's impossible to explain this fic, but it's wordy and fluid and delightful and I never wanted it to end.

River Song is awesome.

In which the TARDIS likes Rory. A lot. Maybe too much. HahaHA. >:DDDD

In which Merlin and the Lone Centurion meet up occasionally, from time to time. This was strange and fascinating and lovely.

In which, in another universe, the Doctor makes it back for little Amelia Pond and they acquire Jack along the way. This was so lovely and unutterably adorable. I just loved it to tiny, little pieces that I'd like to put in my pocket and keep with me always.

In which the Doctor and Amy wander into an alternate reality again and it just happens to be Arthur's dream. EL-OH-EL, I AM DYING. The Doctor in this was just pitch-perfect ridiculousness, and Amy and Arthur weren't bad either.

In which, when Amy dies, Rory and the Doctor aren't quite sure how to be her boys anymore, but slowly they start to figure out how to be other things instead. It's hard to explain how I could read a fic that kills one of my favorite Doctor Who characters ever in its first paragraphs, but this fic grapples with that event in a weighty, respectful way. This fic is mostly about how Rory grieves and eventually slowly begins to move on, and it's just so lovingly rendered that the blossoming of a new relationship with the Doctor is very much a secondary thing, a lovely corollary to an already lovely fic. Also, Jack was pretty awesome here. Can't hate a fic that has guest appearances from stray cats and adorable alien babies (Jack falling under both of these categories, naturally).

In which Jack explains his views on sex to the Doctor. This was delightful. It's almost entirely dialogue and that just brings home the fact that both Jack and the Doctor are excellent communicators, but in vastly different ways. And this fic spotlights one particular way in which Jack far exceeds the Doctor's abilities. Talking the walk, I almost want to call it. Offering the walk with extra smooth talk. Walk being used here as a metaphor for sex. >:D
