well that looks delicious. wiki says: 1 cup bisquick=1 cup flour, 1½ teaspoons of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil/marge

maybe a tiny bit too much baking powder? they don't rise too much but the crust had a slight baking powder after taste.

Not convinced about the icing; i melted a block of lindt 70% and then added a few spoonfuls of the cherry liquor and suddenly it was much less goodlooking! maybe icing sugar?
next time, use a mixing bowl! there was no good reason to mix it straight in the pan & didn't mix properly at the bottom.

Cooked them a little too long - use the timer next time! also, didn't put in as much cayenne, but it does need it. added cardamom, cause i wanted too - nice.
