LukeW | Which One: Responsive Design, Device Experiences, or RESS?
As more organizations realize they need to invest heavily in multi-device Web designs, the inevitable question of “how” comes up. Responsive Web design, separate sites, or something in between? Here’s how I’ve tried to simplify this decision:

Responsive Navigation Patterns | Brad Frost Web
Top and left navigations are typical on large screens, but lack of screen real estate on small screens makes for an interesting challenge. As responsive design becomes more popular, it’s worth looking at the various ways of handling navigation for small screen sizes. Mobile web navigation must strike a balance between quick access to a site’s information and unobtrusiveness.

Stop Designing Pages And Start Designing Flows - Smashing UX Design
For designers, it’s easy to jump right into the design phase of a website before giving the user experience the consideration it deserves. Too often, we prematurely turn our focus to page design and information architecture, when we should focus on the user flows that need to be supported by our designs. It’s time to make the user flows a bigger priority in our design process.

Adam Darowski | Blog | URL as UI
Computer users have gotten so used to the graphical user interface (GUI) that it is easy to forget that computers basically operate via a series of commands. Web Standards Trifle | And all that Malarkey
Before we start, remember that in a trifle the ingredients are in 'layers'. That is why they are mostly served in clear glass bowls. You can see how the ingredients are separated when you look in from the side.

A web standards holiday card from Typekit « The Typekit Blog
Although CSS3 isn’t yet finalized, browsers have already implemented significant parts of it. We used some CSS3 features in our holiday card to enrich the experience for newer browsers; older browsers will ignore these CSS3 properties and degrade gracefully. (Many of these CSS3 properties need to be used in conjunction with vendor prefixes like -moz- and -webkit-, but in some of the examples below, we’ve omitted them for brevity.)
