Numbers: Our Data Library | Project for Excellence in Journalism (PEJ)
"Numbers, numbers, everywhere, but who can make sense of them? The folks at the Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism have a handle on such quantitative matters, and they have provided this set of resources for journalists and the general public. This data library contains all of the data they create or collect about the news media. Organized chronologically, this data is available in chart form, and users are free to customize for their own purposes. Some of the charts offered here include When State of the Union Coverage Shrinks, New Push for Hispanic TV Audiences, and Economy Fades as Election Intensifies. This fragile Sanskrit manuscript, called the Shikshapatri, was written by Shree Swaminarayan, founder of Swaminarayan Hinduism, and outlines moral and spiritual codes for everyday life.

The Sphakia Survey is an interdisciplinary archaeological project whose main objective is to reconstruct the sequence of human activity in a remote and rugged part of Crete (Greece), from the time that people arrived in the area, by ca 3000 BC, until the end of Ottoman rule in AD 1900. Our research covers three major epochs, Prehistoric, Graeco-Roman, and Byzantine-Venetian-Turkish, and has involved the work of many people using environmental,archaeological, documentary, and local information.
