Have only just started reading this, but it's a really impressive document full of guiding principles and actionable solutions for the future of Cooper Union. Written and published by members of the community who get what the school is about and actually give a shit. It's a relief to know there are smart people working hard on the same problems, to supplement all the screaming.

A convicted internet "troll" who posted an offensive image of a teenage shooting victim on Facebook has been given...300 hours of community service at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. He was also given a two-year supervision order and banned from joining social network sites. He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison last September after admitting two "trolling" charges - a term used to describe the trend of anonymously seeking to provoke outrage by posting insults and abuse online.

"Everything that is being simulated is visualised, and everything that’s visualised is being simulated. I received a school-wide email from President Bharucha at 12:14pm. The New York Times ran their story at 12:22pm. It clearly wasn't written in that 8 minute gap. Which means the administration once again talked to the papers about their plan before even telling the students. Fuckers.
