"Twitter RSS Links allows you to generate a (RSS|ATOM|JSON|XML) feed from your friend's tweets that contains HTTP links." Does what it says, with OAuth (so it works for private folks). I really should do a delicious-network style un-shortening UI on top of the JSON, mind you.

This isn't exactly terribly friendly, but until Twitter do something to expose favourites more visibly or someone writes a nice GUI app (hard, because it requires n*following calls), this'll do for me. (I imported it into Google Reader, which I don't use otherwise.) Source on Github, naturally.

Phil distinguishes between what he (sensibly) calls data-centric and people-centric aggregation, and goes on to note that duplication is a problem. As I note in the comments, there's beginning to be a consensus here.

Sure, ok, stop doing this. But please do offer different content in different feeds (in the same format) if it makes sense to. I do, anyway, and I wish others would too (cf horizontal aggregation rants passim).

Nice, but I still want HTML blog front ends to have a category: "everything minus the delicious cruft". (I do this, but in two chunks of "everything", because I am a bit wonky.)

RSS feeds get overhauled, ICHC gets referenced, and your newsreader gets a bunch of stuff marked as unread. Apparently. haddock.org's gained cruft, certainly.
