a twitter script for irssi | Twirssi
Not quite what I'd want (that's a bot that feeds an IRC channel, so everyone can see what's going on) but it's not at all bad either. I'm running it for a while to see how it goes.

Security Update might break Perl | bulknews.typepad.com
The Security Update released by Apple yesterday, 2009-001, clobbers part of the core IO module. If you've ever upgraded it, you'll need to fetch it manually and reinstall.

Perl on App Engine | brad's life
Sounds like Brad Fitzpatrick is trying to get this off the ground. "basically, we'll be statically linking in a hardened, customized libperl to a C++ application, disabling all Perl dynamic loading" amongst other things.

After reading about *jour and the Ruby lovein, I finally thought this morning "hm, why didn't someone do that with SVK back at Fotango?" Leon Brocard remembers better than I do, since it turns out CLKao did. (Admittedly *jour goes further.)

displaying EXIF statistics and searching - Flickr
Dario Taraborelli's UI for searching EXIF data. However, it's not public. I've hijacked his comments thread to mention my unfinished/unpublised EXIF machine tag script. I really should do something with it, but if I don't, at least it's sort of out there
