'Formally known as The Deerpath -- but "the car" to club members -- the private commuter car on Metra's Union Pacific North Line is a tradition in Lake Forest, dating to 1929. A group of businessmen paid the Chicago & North Western Railway $15,000 that first year to run their car.'
