But most of the time he says nothing, just looks at it, like he is not really seeing the painting at all but something else, and he looks at Pam sideways and not quite smiles but beams. When that happens Pam hates Michael a bit and feels infinitely sad because he seems to have more faith in her than she does.

"You don't look lost at all," he says, shaking his head. "You just look kind of... brand new."

Pam finds a book club and joins it with Lily and Robin, and then Marshall joins too after he finds out they're reading Dracula.

"Oh, hey, Jan," he says. "I thought I smelled desperation and silicone."

The only thing Pam's ever heard him say is, "The worst thing about prison was the Dementors."

Pam grins a little, because for just a second, she remembers that she’s glad to be moving to Connecticut.

“I am so far from decent right now,” Pam murmured, still trying to wake up all the way.

“Did you kiss me in the bar because of the guy, or because you wanted to?”

“Oh.” Then: “Can you, like, even be that greedy?”

"It sounds like you've been seeing Karen a lot," said her mom, her tone somewhere between curious and approving.

Although, Pam thinks, in continuing to try new things, they should accidentally let him discover them in the parking lot since everything happens there.

"You don't know what I'm asking you to the bed for." Pam smiles, and she almost feels it.

Karen laughs. "Neither do I. See, this is why talking is important. Otherwise, I would've thought I just sucked in bed."

If he's going to throw me a coming out party, he should at least do enough research to find out about Tegan and Sara or something.

"Oscar, what have you done?" asked Michael.

...but it definitely wasn't cute how out of nowhere Karen kept getting shot through the head, accompanied by the message "You were killed by TheReceptionist."

...and at one point, he has to put his hand over Michael's mouth. But it's worth it, to do for Pam. Or he thinks so until Michael starts licking his palm.

Sometimes she'd draw me little funny pictures and leave them around the apartment. Like of cartoon frogs, or weird distortions of the Dunder Mifflin logo. One time she drew me riding a unicorn.

There were, like, articles in TV Guide about how Ryan was the devil, stealing Pam away like that.

He's talking to Marshall over in legal about it, and Marshall says, "Dude, it sounds like you want to marry her, is what it sounds like."

His nefarious plan is not to have a nefarious plan, though, and after a long moment she gets out of the car.

They slouch over to Michael's office in their bathrobes, Jim in red, Pam in blue, both of them still half asleep.

She handed it to Karen, who unfolded it like it was a gift, with care.

“Oh, I think it’s my business if my girlfriend is out kissing other girls on the weekends.”

Karen moves her hands around Pam like she’s modeling a product on The Price is Right.

Voila! Kissing ahoy, Halpert!

Inside the box is everything Jim has ever given her.

I mean, what can I say? Ladies fictionally love me.

"Definitely," Dwight says, nodding along. "No question."

"I'll drink some FIRE," he tells Pam and she leans around the desk to blink at him, before sitting up again.

And besides, fuck Halpert.

Michael bought Munchkins and is crying again. It's been a teary fortnight.
