"Nexalogy recently participated in the 2011 Strata Making Data Work Conference.

Nexalogy's lexical map is a graphical representation of large text data sets. In this case, we have processed 4616 tweets containing the hashtags #strataconf or #stratconf from February 1 to February 7, 2011.

Each of the top 300 words in the dataset is represented here by a node. A node's size is proportional to the number of mentions of that word in the entire dataset. The links between the nodes indicate that they are semantically connected, and the closer they are together, the stronger the connection."

VisualEyes is web-based authoring tool developed at the University of Virginia to weave images, maps, charts, video and data into highly interactive and compelling dynamic visualizations.

Fusion Tables is a service for managing large collections of tabular data in the cloud. You can upload tables of up to 100MB and share them with collaborators, or make them public. You can apply filters and aggregation to your data, visualize it on maps and other charts, merge data from multiple tables, and export it to the Web or csv files. You can also conduct discussions about the data at several levels of granularity, such as rows, columns and individual cells.
