One of the great Friend Connect features is to be able to stream back your activities to other social networks (or other social sites supporting activity streams) you use. The interesting aspect here is the plural! With Facebook Connect, you are limited to just one social network (Facebook), but with Friend Connect you will be able to stream you activities to several sites at the same time.

The basic premises that underlie social media -- the fundamental relationships that link authors to the community of readers -- are changing in the face of new and different social tools. In a sense, I am chasing the elusive question about where community resides, once again.
