Right now, the elites have turned to violence and authoritarianism to try to damp the effects of what we call the Internet Reformation. But from what we can tell, it didn't work the first time, and there's no reason to think it will work now. People won't voluntarily obey just because they might end up dead, buggered and dumped into an unmarked desert grave. Violence, long-term, is not a relevant solution to social control. It can work for a while but eventually, belief systems need to be inculcated. The best slaves are the ones who don't know they are enslaved. Otherwise, long-term, it doesn't have the requisite impact.'

'The original call for Occupy Wall Street came from non-profit international media foundation Adbusters. ...Adbusters takes a significant portion of its money from the Tides Foundation, an organisation partnered with one of Wall Street billionaire oligarch George Soros's foundations, the Open Society Institute... Freedom House is another of Soros's Open Society partners. It supports the Centre for Applied Nonviolent Action and Strategies (Canvas), an organisation started by Serbians Ivan Marovic and Srdja Popovic. After playing a pivotal role in the CIA-backed deposing of Serbia's Slobodan Milosevic, the western media hailed Marovic as a democratic genius, but it came out later that his programme came out of an elite Boston thinktank's "regime change" manual, From Dictatorship to Democracy, written by Harvard professor Gene Sharp. Sharp's book is a bible of the colour revolutions – a "regime change for dummies". There are also reports of Canvas activity during the early days of Occupy Wall Street, including a video of Marovic himself addressing the general assembly. Currently, Canvas are touting their recent role in working with Egyptian and Tunisian protesters from as early as 2009, teaching skills that helped bring down their presidents and spark regional revolt. When the dust settles and it's all said and done, millions of Occupy participants may very well be given a sober lesson under the heading of "controlled opposition".' -- Pied pipers are piping

There can never be too many taxes, after all. The middle class is to be ground into dust with these taxes.'

What's the alternative media's verdict? Occupy Wall Street has been fomented with organizational elements of the US State Department and its AYM arm, abetted no doubt by the FBI, CIA and other Intel organizations. Funding nominally is being provided via Adbusters magazine, which gets its funding through Soros-managed entities among others and its direct democracy approach from pseudo anarchist David Graeber. The movement, ultimately, will refract numerous memes set up by the power elite in its pursuit of global governance. It is apparently designed as a kind of Trojan Horse to get as many young Western adults as possible involved with it. This sheds illumination on the overseas "youth movements" as well, which provide a precedent for Occupy Wall Street, which in its planned expansion may be constitute a final surge toward a one-world state. This cannot be the last word, however. The elites will drive home their narrative via the mainstream media and if anyone questions the craziness of a "leaderless" worldwide movement, the Washington Post is there with its rebuttal. The article seeks to make a case for the evolution of anarchism as methodology of positive change. This is weird because previously the Anglosphere elites have always used anarchism within a negative context. But not now.'

'Nobody ever said the Anglosphere power elite in aggregate was stupid – and its fear-based promotions can work at a fairly sophisticated level. 'Is it "conspiratorial" to ask why? The whole one-world-order campaign is a conspiracy, in fact. It's managed by a tiny coterie of central banking families and their economic, political, business, religious and military enablers. They've created and pursued this conspiracy for decades, for centuries. And with appropriate Freudian projection, they point fingers at their critics and scream "conspiracy" when anyone dares to analyze what is evidently and obviously occurring. Obama finds the Occupy Wall Street protests compelling. Writing for the most influential liberal newspaper in America, Krugman finds them clearly appropriate: "The protesters' indictment of Wall Street as a destructive force, economically and politically, is completely right." For us, Krugman's column and Obama's speech on the same day seem no coincidence. It is part of a larger orchestrated conspiracy to whip up resentment against "capitalism" worldwide. The results are to be some sort of international regulatory regime, perhaps, that will do much to usher in far more aggressive global governance. It is the next step in an apparent conspiracy to create a one-world order.'

'Democratic change has been demanded across the Middle East. But was what seems like a spontaneous revolution actually a strategically planned event, fabricated by 'revolution consultants' long in advance? Revolution consultants are the worst nightmare of every regime. Srdja Popovic was a founder of the organisation 'Otpor', a revolution training school. It was instrumental in the overthrow of Slobodan Milosevic in the 1990s and has now inspired a new generation of activists. Political commentators like William Engdahl are convinced Otpor is being financed by the USA. "The people from Otpor gave us a book in which they described all their strategies", says Ezzedine Zaatour of the Tunisian uprising. That book was written by an American, Gene Sharp, and is now considered the "revolution guide book", being used by opposition movements worldwide.' -- Pied pipers are piping

'“We’ve got a nice four weeks of thinking Libya represents a triumph of liberty before the situation begins to deteriorate and some new form of authoritarianism inevitably asserts itself,” said Michigan-based architect Wes Reinhorn, adding that while he was looking forward to the nation potentially serving as a model for other Arab countries, he would eventually realize the situation in the region was very complex, and any hope he had of Libya transforming things for the better would presumably fade away by October.'

'...what if the "Awakening" in all of its chaos was meant to set up a more polarized Middle East that would confront Israel in an regional war? We know the elites like to follow the road map of religious texts (which predict this sort of thing) because it provides a kind of cover. (Religious texts in this regard may act as a kind of predictive programming.) A war between Israel and the "rest" of the Middle East might entail nuclear weapons and the amount of people killed would make Iraq and Afghanistan look like minor skirmishes. Yet, the drumbeat for war continues. And would the result be a resurgent Israel that won new territory through enormously superior firepower? Would such a war, then, put the West in charge of the Middle East in a way it's never been before? Would it provide the fuel for even more Draconian rights crackdowns at home? Would it somehow place the elites closer to their goal of global governance?'

'Dominant Social Theme: Supporting the glorious Arab Spring is important. -- There are five countries that we count as successfully destabilized by the West (America in particular). They are Afghanistan, Iraq, Tunisia, Egypt and the Ivory Coast. The money shows where the West wants to go. ...there is a sudden scramble to bankroll efforts to steer these destabilized countries in the "right" direction. This is the stated goal then – regulatory democracies not Islamic republics. It is a predictable dominant social theme. Destabilizations have taken place and the citizenry has been freed! We do not put it past Western elites to be playing an even more subtle game. It is possible that Saudi Arabia is supposed to be destabilized to usher in a non-dollar, global currency. It is possible that the creation of a string of Islamic republics is still the ultimate goal (the better to support the "war on terror"). It is even possible that general chaos and regional war is the preferable outcome.'

'Dominant Social Theme: The people have had enough and thanks to FaceBook are rebelling. -- We have a hard time understanding how people can look at what's happening and declare it's all coincidence... If someone ten years ago had said Western countries led by the Anglosphere would be deeply involved in conflicts in the Iraq, Afghanistan, the Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria and Yemen all at once (have we left any out?), the rationale for such activities probably would not be clear at all. In fact, the rationales still are not clear. It begins to look more and more like a low-key WORLD WAR – operating under the good-natured guise of installing "democracy" – rather than a series of relief missions and support activities. It is easy to be lulled by individual justifications for Western involvements in individual states, but when takes a step back and looks at the totality of what is now taking place, the view is startling and increasingly – deeply – disturbing.'

There is pushback. In the 20th century, Western powers-that-be staved off market pressures with considerable efficiency. But the 21st century may mark the rise of marketplace power once again...'

These Western-inspired color revolutions are evolving in ways that are both predictable and unpredictable. But one thing is for certain; they are not what they seem. Where they are headed, and how they will ultimately change the geopolitical context remains uncertain. (Though increased chaos seems a given.)'

'Here's what you won't hear discussed on CNN or FOX or in the pages of the NY Times, etc.: The US dollar, priced in oil, became necessary for ALL nations to maintain as a reserve currency. That is if they wanted to buy any oil—as dollars were what the Saudis and the rest of the OPEC members would accept. This created the effect of an ever-growing demand for dollars. And like any Ponzi scheme, you need an ever-expanding base of demand, or else it crumbles, which they all eventually do. So, under the guise of spreading their new religion, democracy, Western elites have brought various developing countries under the control of non-elected world government agencies. If it were just about the oil supply, why wouldn't the US open up their vast oil resources in the mid-west? The answer is because it isn't really about oil at all. It is about maintaining the global oil trade in the fraudulent US dollar so that the 20th century game of wealth redistribution and mind manipulation can continue.'

'Russia is imposing sanctions against Colonel Gaddafi's regime, banning the exports of weapons and military equipment. It's part of mounting pressure for action against Libya, following fresh clashes between rebels and the government. Anthony Wile – founder and chief editor of online newspaper The Daily Bell told RT that the opposition in Libya is far from united.' -- "[The 'rebels'] are going to get help whether they like it or not and some would say that help is what has been driving this 'revolution' to begin with."

'The Rothschilds it should be noted have a strong base of operations in Britain, specifically in the City of London where the strategic braintrust of the New World Order is located. The Rothschild's operations are apparently worldwide and the money that the Rothschild's and others control via central banking is virtually limitless. From this nexus of investment and banking families has spread the plague of mercantilist central banking, which now afflicts the globe. Not content with the ruinous centralization of central banking, the Rothschild's, their allies and intelligence operatives have apparently launched a global attack on developing countries. Libya is just the latest country to receive the "treatment." Even the orchestration is deliberate, with each country falling in line, like dominoes, no two at once to ensure maximum media coverage. Additional Islamic republics only buttress Western authoritarianism at home and provide the pretext for further domestic oppression.'

And a whole new reality was set into motion.

'NEW YORK—In an effort to provide viewers with an authentic, first-person account of conditions on the ground in Libya, CNN news anchor Kyra Phillips conducted an exclusive, one-on-one interview Tuesday with the Al Jazeera news anchor who interviewed leaders of the uprising. "What can you tell us about what they told you about what the situation is like for them right now?" asked Phillips, going directly to the source of the Arab news network's extensive on-air discussions with key figures in the rebellion. "'This fight for freedom has come at a great cost to you,' is what I imagine you said to them, correct?" CNN has announced it will continue its firsthand reporting on the chaos in Tripoli's streets from its bureau in Cairo, more than 1,000 miles away.'

'The reports of Libya mobilizing its air force against its own people spread quickly around the world. However, Russia's military chiefs say they have been monitoring from space -- and the pictures tell a different story. According to Al Jazeera and BBC, on February 22 Libyan government inflicted airstrikes on Benghazi -- the country's largest city -- and on the capital Tripoli. However, the Russian military, monitoring the unrest via satellite from the very beginning, says nothing of the sort was going on on the ground. At this point, the Russian military is saying that, as far as they are concerned, the attacks some media were reporting have never occurred. The same sources in Russia's military establishment say they are also monitoring the situation around Libya's oil pumping facilities.'

'We have been given a prepackaged ideal of what “revolution” is supposed to look like. So when we see people in the streets battling security forces, waving flags, all within the backdrop of their burning society, we are satisfied that “revolution” is taking place. But the reality is, this is not a revolution by any stretch of the imagination. It is a high-tech, high-speed invasion and subjugation... Real revolution will take place when people realize what indeed is really happening, who is behind it, and then no longer paying into their corrupt system. This translates into boycotting the corporate combines behind the very policies we deplore, and replacing “their” system that benefits only them, with our own system that solely benefits ourselves. Some may be skeptical of whether or not boycotting and replacing the elitist system that currently domineers mankind is even possible, however it is already taking place. The alternative media is one such example...'

'The result of these "revolutions" will be inevitably some other governmental organization. The choices are said to be: democracy, authoritarian (military) rule or some sort of Islamic republic. The last option has to do with the evolution of Islamic republics within the Middle East. This ... I believe will eventually become a reality. It will happen because this is the outcome that Western money power actually seeks. The Anglo-American power elite needs an enemy if it is to continue its "war on terror." Just as it did during the Great Depression, Western money power badly needs a war. The central banking economy, having ruined the wealth of the West, is not going to recover any time soon and is, in fact, unraveling faster than ever. The hope of the elite is that confrontation with the Middle East and parts of Africa will refocus the Western citizens' attention on an outside threat and paint the inevitable collapse of Western monetary systems in a different historical light.'

As an added bonus (from the West's point of view) Russia may be destabilized as well by onrushing Islamic fundamentalism. And yet ... from our point of view there may now be too many who understand either partially or fully the depths of deviousness in the world today for these sorts of manipulations to work. If those in the Middle East can identify the essential "managed" nature of what is going on today, this surely does not bode well for the puppet masters.'

'...changes to communication technologies create new possibilities for the self-organisation and self-mobilisation of society, by-passing the barriers of censorship and repression imposed by the state. The issue clearly isn't dependent on technology. Internet is a necessary but not sufficient condition. The roots of rebellion lie in exploitation, oppression and humiliation. However, the possibility of rebelling without being quashed immediately depends on the density and speed of mobilisation and that depends on the ability created by the technologies which I have classified as mass self-communication. -- The important thing to remember about wiki-revolutions (self-generating and self-organising ones), is that leadership doesn't count, they are just symbols. However, these symbols don't have any power, nobody obeys them and neither would they try. Perhaps later on, when the revolution has become institutionalised, some of these people may be co-opted to be a symbol for change...'

'Youtube, Facebook and Twitter have become the new weapons of mass mobilisation. Are social networks triggering social revolution? And where will the next domino fall?' -- Old media is old.

'Dominant Social Theme: Islam is breaking out. Who knew? – What we believe we are beginning to see is the formation of an Islamic political crescent throughout the Middle East. During the regime changes that took place in Tunisia and Egypt, there was a good deal of chatter in the mainstream press about "secular" political regimes coming to the fore. But it's not going to work that way in our view. -- Most believe Al Jazeera to be a "radical" Islamic news agency but Qatar's Emirate was literally put on the throne by the Anglosphere and its money still funds the news network, which was seeded initially by a group of BBC reporters out of Saudi Arabia. The West tends to facilitate its enemies. -- ...we suggested that Western elites were setting up George Orwell's 1984, complete with an Islamic enemy and Asian enemy (China). "A ‘long war' of this sort [we wrote] could eventually resolve itself into the longed-for New World Order as these three regions propel their struggle into exhaustion.'

'Hosni Mubarak has resigned. The Egyptian "color" revolution (ie: a peaceable one), carried out by heroic people risking life and limb, has been apparently been a success. I only wish it were that simple. But there is ample evidence the revolution has been manipulated and that the Anglo-American elite plans to replicate the Egyptian revolution not just in the Middle East but worldwide via the use of the Internet and swelling youth demographics. The Youth Movements may offer us insights into how the elite intends to build a new world order, one regulatory democracy at a time. For the most part one may need pliable candidates in seats of power. And certainly the elite wants to be seen as participating in the transformative power of the ‘Net. It may even be that they’ve realized the inevitability of convulsive change and are trying to get out ahead of it and to control it via such artifices as AYM.' -- What have you bought into; what will it cost to buy you out?

'"They suffered under Mubarak for 30 years and this is the consolation prize they get? Democracy? At least give them all new jobs, or $5,000 in cash. Something."'

"Where are you going to go politically? American-style democracy? Look at gas canisters that are choking you -- 'Made in the USA!' -- look at the bribes of the American government that keep your rulers in power. Don't head that way. Egyptians -- stop choosing your rulers -- make the only choice that matters -- no rulers! 6,000 years ago, Egypt was the birthplace of the state -- wouldn't it be wonderful if, in 2011, it also turned out to be the grave of statism?"

'Contrary to Al Jazeera's propaganda, the Egyptian masses are not demonstrating anymore. They are protecting their homes and families. The demonstration last night had 5,000 political activists participating and not 150,000 as Al Jazeera insists. At this moment, no one outside of those political activists cares less now if the President will resign or not. They have more important concerns now; security and food. The next task will be to deal with the political activists and the Muslim Brotherhood which now dominates the scene. It is anyone's guess how that will be done, but in a couple of days the Egyptians will probably be begging the army to shoot them. Egyptians today feel pride in themselves. They have protected their neighborhoods and done what the army has failed to do. This empowerment will not be crushed easily. Until someone actually starts addressing the real issues and stop the chatterbox of clichés on democracy, things will not get better at all. It will only get worse.'

'These Middle Eastern uprisings are not entirely spontaneous but are in a sense orchestrated by Western powers that be for a variety or reasons. Even the proximate causes – rising food prices and a lack of employment – can be seen as deliberate Western policies designed to create hopelessness and despair that can then be converted to civil unrest at the opportune moment. Fortunately, the truth-telling of the Internet has helped people wake up from the overwhelming mind-control of the 20th century. We think the same process is occurring in the Middle East. Elite manipulations yet continue. The "color revolutions" constitute a shadow-play, even a Dreamtime; participants may yet not know they are being manipulated. Certainly they will not learn of it from the mainstream media which is covering these events in a purely linear fashion, ignoring evidences of manipulation and promoting the uprisings merely as expressions of grievances that must be addressed by new regimes.'

'The American Embassy in Cairo helped a young dissident attend a US-sponsored summit for activists in New York, while working to keep his identity secret from Egyptian state police. On his return to Cairo in December 2008, the activist told US diplomats that an alliance of opposition groups had drawn up a plan to overthrow President Hosni Mubarak and install a democratic government in 2011. The documents released by WikiLeaks reveal US Embassy officials were in regular contact with the activist throughout 2008 and 2009, considering him one of their most reliable sources for information about human rights abuses. The protests in Egypt are being driven by the April 6 youth movement, a group on Facebook that has attracted mainly young and educated members opposed to Mr Mubarak. The group has about 70,000 members and uses social networking sites to orchestrate protests and report on their activities.' -- What have you bought into; what will it cost to buy you out?

'Dominant Social Theme: The Jasmine revolution spread unexpectedly. -- Could it be that the power elite itself is inciting these disturbances? Is the idea, eventually, to crash the dollar and set up a global currency in its place? We have already hypothesized that these manipulated revolutions (if they are fully realized) will give rise to Islamic states. Now we will further explore the idea that the West is hoping to install a variety of "democratic" regimes – many of them perhaps "national unity governments," with Islamic overtones. These overthrows might accomplish numerous purposes, including the furtherance of elite globalism. The power elite has always had an affection for national unity governments ... The idea is that by reasoning together, opponents can build better and more efficient governments – that do more things for more people. All these revolutions coming at once are almost too good to be true. And perhaps they are.'

'[Meyssan's] main point: The revolution, manipulated by Western intelligence agencies, has begun to spiral out-of-control. The Western media, as Meyssan points out, has attempted to portray the Jasmine Revolution as a valid expression of a people's aspirations toward freedom. The elite continues to struggle. With the advent of the Internet, the most precious commodity of all, the ability to fully shape a promotional message has been all but lost. We think [Assange] and WikiLeaks may in fact be an elite promotion of sorts. Meyssan believes that the hacker "Anonymous" is a kind of psyops as well. We've pointed out this possibility, too. We note that the mainstream media tried to draw a linkage between the Tunisian revolution and WikiLeaks – but this interpretation has not generated a consensus. In the 20th century, the [elite] have had no problem establishing such a narrative (WikiLeaks supposedly exposed Ben Ali's corruption and sparked a revolution); in the 21st century they cannot.'
