DePatie-Freleng Enterprises - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
ePatie-Freleng Enterprises (or DFE Films) was a Hollywood-based animation production company, active from 1963 to 1981. They produced theatrical cartoons, animated series, commercials, title sequences and television specials. Notable among these is The Pink Panther film titles and shorts and a line of Dr. Seuss adaptations made for CBS and ABC including 1971's The Cat in the Hat.

This is very interesting. Shooter's a pretty business-y guy, but he seems to have good sense about what he did. This has stuff on wrangling Claremont and Byrne and the New Universe and stuff and so forth and stuff.

This is fun, except, '"Only heroes team up," Gleiser notes, "while villains do not."' That's not true. Didn't any of the 12,000+ comics address this?
