Introducing Nettuts+ Fetch
12 weeks ago by florian.eckerstorfer
I thought to myself: “What if there was a plugin that would automatically pull in the latest copy of a file, simply by typing a keyboard shortcut. It’ll perform a curl request to your specified URL (saved away for future use), and allow you to rest assured that, for all new projects, you’re using the latest copy of a particular asset.

Overtone and ClojureScript
february 2012 by snearch
Lots of folks have been interested in ClojureScript lately, but have had a hard time figuring out what a CLJS app actually looks like. So today I recorded myself building an Overtone controller (that I use on an iPad) using noir, fetch, jayq, and crate. In the end, it looks like this:

Since I don't narrate in the video, I figured I'd give a breakdown of some of the main ideas below. If you want all the gory details though, you can watch the screencast or look at the code. Now to the fun part.

How I use different fetch & push URLs in Git - Technosorcery
january 2012 by desaprobado
In order to configure different fetch, and push URLs, you’ll need to add a pushURL setting in the .git/config for the remotes you want configured. With the url setting configured to use a git:// style URL, and the pushURL setup to use an SSH URL (git@ or ssh://), you can avoid the overhead of SSH when fetching, but still be able to push to the repository.
